CURRICULUM
A CHILD'S WORLD

TALENTS INTERNATIONAL PRE-SCHOOL follows the 'A CHILD'S WORLD' curriculum developed by the Offce of Education, North American Division, General Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists. The curriculum is designed specifically for early-year education and used in many kindergartens in the United States.

The curriculum retlects the belief that relationships and experiences during the early years of a child's life determines the direction of his physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual development. The kindergarten program, thus, provides a climate for learning that is fun, stimulating, loving and secure. In this nurturing environment, each child's maturation and development levels will be respected and enhanced so that growth will occur at its own natural pace and in its own time. As this developmental process takes place, the child will demonstrate progress in the growing understanding of the simple concepts and in the ability to apply them.

THE MAJOR GOALS

The major goals set to reflect the philosophy and rationale of the program are as follows:

  • Social & Emotional goals
  • Cognitive goals
  • Physical goals
  • Moral / Spiritual goals
